Frenchtown, New Jersey
This is a reflection in a shop window in Frenchtown, NJ. The shop is called Left Bank. At first my eyes were drawn to the Eiffel Tower painting with the umbrella-carrying Parisians. Then I noticed the reflections of the buildings, trees and cars but my favorite reflection is the man who happens to be superimposed on the body of one of the people in the painting. Can you see him? Look at the base of the Eiffel Tower and above the cars. He's on the left side of the tower but on the right side of the speed bump sign. Oh, and he's wearing sunglasses.
Thank you for all of the wonderful comments and anniversary wishes last week!
Enjoy the weekend!

pretty slick! looks like the umbrella'd folks are standing right there on the street with him. :)
"Frenchtown" ? "Tour Eiffel"?!!J'aimerais bien connaître les causes de cette histoire d'amour avec la France! :o)
Le reflet est riche et splendide , et très évocateur , Bravo !
It's as if you've captured the dream of the folks who live in this little town and dream of the big, romantic city!
I had to look very closely to get that reflection on a reflection!
Very intriguing reflection picture!
I followed your lead and yes, after much straining and effort, I spotted him. Now I can't see anything but him ... too funny. This is an awesome collection of reflections in reflections ... well done, James.

I love this week picture, James... I've noticed first the Eiffel tower and thought that the display must have really pleased you : you are so fond of Paris...
Then I noticed the guy with shades on and the umbrellas on the painting and I thought : "What a cool contrast !"
Then I read your text, and I found funny we had the same things noticed at first glance on the picture... ^^
That's really an awesome one !
Very cool! I thought the Eiffel Tower was reflected at first. Love the umbrella head too. Black is definitely the best reflector, I think.
Great reflections! Yes, I noticed him!:)
That's amazing! a small detail captured by your camera lens and you had such a good look to observe it!! Amazing...
What a surreal juxtaposition! I love how the Eiffel echoes the vertical pine tree. And a Happy Belated Anniversary to you. What a monumental milestone. Congratulations are in order, so... Congratulations!
This is a really fun reflection, James, with much to see!
Wow!!! It's not only a reflection, the foto tell's a story, maybe it will become a novel, great! Have a nice weekend - Ghislana
Je comprends pourquoi cette ville est nommée 'Frenchtown', un cliché plein de détails intéressants dont ces jolies silhouettes.

It's almost like triple exposure shot - so many things to view.
Hi James what a gorgeous "French" reflection collage! I'm not sure why, but my linky image is not showing here it is again… there are a ton of reflection photos to choose from if you put it in on your end.

Fabulous! I had to squint to figure whether this was a photo in Paris with an American reflection or vice versa. I DID see the man superimposed in the ET group. When you capture one like this, it really brings a smile to your face, n'est-ce pas?
Happy weekend,
Genie
HI James Well if you had not given us directions to where that man was in your shot, I would never have found him. Very interesting reflection. Thanks for hosting.
my eyes were immediately drawn to the people with umbrellas, and the third man is easy to see! Have a great weekend, James.
Beautiful image and composition......I love how it tells a story!
Happy weekend!

You are surrounded by la tour and c'est la vie... :-)
If you hadn't pointed out the superimpression, I wouldn't have noticed it. Wow.
Sorry James, I put my new url in, but it doesn't work, because I did it the wrong way, but now my pic no. 32 does not work, and I don't know how to fix it. I'll try to put in another link with the existing url,and see what happens...
Amazing how much you can get into one reflection. There is a whole world in this one photo.
I too thought the tower was the reflection at first - these things can so confuse at times
Wow, you've done it again James! What a brilliant capture. Your imaginative shots continue to delight - thank you so much.
Sun-glass man is sitting pretty on the lady's umbrella :) You do see the most fab reflections James.
Fantastic photo, James, loaded with interesting images!
that is so great.. Clever one.
thank you..
Wonderful capture ( as usual!) .It took me some time until I spotted the man with the sunglasses. GREAT!
This photo is stunning!!! I love how the people are ghostly silhouettes. And the man with the sunglasses popped out immediately to me. This shot is incredible! Great work.
That is an amazing reflection photo ... the more you look, the more you see.
This shot is so you! :)
What a very cool shot! Yes, I see the guy, which makes the photo even more awesome.
if I could paint I should give it a try on your image today. :)
Love this reflection - unique and beautiful!
