Service (Without) a Smile (Weekend Street/Reflections # 82)

Venice, Italy

Who remembers the "Service with a smile" signs that used to be in many shops and restaurants?

It would have been really funny if this place had one.😄

 Have a good weekend!

Now you can link reflections and/or street photography.

Please no posed pictures, portraits, animals, etc. unless there is a reflection.

Click here for street photography examples and inspiration.

"Street photography, a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge."

James I do believe he was not amused at your taking his photographs, hence the terrible face. Thanks for hosting and have a lovely weekend.

The smile comes after he sits with his honey,
and they have gelati and water on their tasting appendices.
I really think they charged him too much for their small order.

There is a broad undercurrent of humor in your photo. We have all had experiences with grumpy waiters.

un sourire "glacé" pour un marchand de glaces, celles-ci sont certainement délicieuses

He looks a bit grumpy but determined, hopefully his morning tea cheers him up a bit.

Don't dare complain if the ice cream doesn't taste right.

Haha, maybe he needs another type of job?
Oh, getting back to my previous post about the 80% of Christians, I should have chosen a better wording, like 80% Christians who think they follow God (but in reality do not involve him).
