We could use a few more gully-washers here in Connecticut. The summer has been very dry. The poem nicely depicts the mood.

Looks like a rain day that's good for being inside and hibernating.
The darkness of rainy days is different here in Texas - it says warm, and it never gets as dark as in the other places I lived. Great subject!
