Umbrella (Weekend Street/Reflections # 114)

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

About ten years ago it started to rain while I was walking in Philadelphia and I realized I didn't have an umbrella. I remember seeing a woman with an umbrella walking briskly across the street. Somehow I knew she would turn around and look at me, so I had my camera ready. Unfortunately, I got more than just a picture. I also got the song Umbrella by Rihanna stuck in my head for the rest of the day. 😳

                                              Have a great weekend!

Now you can link reflections and/or street photography.

That's what photography does, captures a moment. It's amazing how we can look good picture we took even years ago and be transported back to that moment. Have a wonderful weekend! James

How did you know she would look back? I guess she saw you standing in the rain with no cover and planned to take you under her umbrella-- until she realized your true motive.

She is giving you quite the look. Could be curiosity, wonder, fear, or desire. You can take your pick of meanings.

I read into the picture that she would offer to share the umbrella.
You caught an "ear worm", googles knows that term if you need help.
While you are googling look up Mark Twain, poem's, "Punch, Brother, punch".
