Yosemite Sam/Horace Greeley (Weekend Street/Reflections # 95)

Newport Beach, California

While standing on the Newport Beach pier, he said, "Go West, young man" and laughed. I wondered if he wanted me to jump off the end of the pier or go to Catalina Island. Then I laughed because he called me a young man. I was probably 50 when I took this picture.😄
Have a good weekend!

Now you can link reflections and/or street photography.

Please no posed pictures, portraits, animals, etc. unless there is a reflection.

There is no telling what he meant by quoting Horace Greeley, but this pose is perfect for your photograph. Have a great weekend, James, and Happy Thanksgiving.

He looks old, probably has the right to call you a young man.

I'm glad you posted this, James. I've been to Newport Beach but I missed this or didn't know what I was seeing.
Thank you, James.
