Finally Warm Enough for a Walk

Although it was still below freezing, the temperature was up and the wind speed was down so I went for a drive and found this nice frozen lake to walk around. Vicki showed me a website for making frames for photos, so I decided to play around with it.

Thanks for sharing your winter scenes! We've only had rain, but there's still time to experience a change. I like those frames! Great job!

Wonderfully atmospheric shots. The frames look good as well - must give the site you mention a try.

Funny, it was our week to take a lake walk too. I'll be posting shots later, and as you'll see your walk looks more pleasant than ours! It's supposed to get really cold here at the end of the week - not Texas cold, REALLY cold. Maybe I'll get some ice pictures, or at least shots of the grocery store as people prepare for bad weather lol. Kathy

That's a pretty lake even if it does look very cold!

Neat photo, doesn't look as cold as I am sure it is! Thanks for the link to Piknik - like Alan, I am anxious to give it a try.
Best in the new year!

Brr... heureusement que l'on sait qu'il y avait toi derrière la caméra car c'est désertique à souhait.

Beautiful. I wish there were snow. I need to get down to Washingtons Crossing. I'm not so sure that it really is warm enough for a walk though! Not complaining about the cold, I just don't want to be out there any more than I have too!!!ba

A beautiful image of a great place, but we can guess that the cold is still there and this is a further compliment for your picture!

Hello James!
I liked these frames, your pictures are wonderful!
It's so nice that you can walk with a more pleasant temperature.
We are back to Lux, but it's really cold here.Anyway I'm walking around a lot because my son is here and I'm now a kind of "tourist guide":)
Not so easy to walk around with a temperature -8 C.

It looks like a scene out of a fairy tale, or a decor for a ballet or something. Very pretty!

It still looks cold but if the wind is calm I might be game. I've walked in colder.
Nice job with the frames.
