Although it was still below freezing, the temperature was up and the wind speed was down so I went for a drive and found this nice frozen lake to walk around. Vicki showed me a website for making frames for photos, so I decided to play around with it.

Thanks for sharing your winter scenes! We've only had rain, but there's still time to experience a change. I like those frames! Great job!
Such pretty scenery. Is all your snow gone?
I like the frames.
Sunny :)
beau paysage d'hiver, on sent le froid rien qu'en regardant tes photos
With or without frame, the place is taking breath! With a kind of romantic , even gothic mood!I like it!
Those pictures are beautiful and framed they are like paintings. Wonderful.
James my dear friend...these are just beautiful. They look like the work of a professional I'm telling you that you are awesome with your photos. :) WONDERFUL :)
Wonderfully atmospheric shots. The frames look good as well - must give the site you mention a try.
Funny, it was our week to take a lake walk too. I'll be posting shots later, and as you'll see your walk looks more pleasant than ours! It's supposed to get really cold here at the end of the week - not Texas cold, REALLY cold. Maybe I'll get some ice pictures, or at least shots of the grocery store as people prepare for bad weather lol. Kathy
That's a pretty lake even if it does look very cold!
Neat photo, doesn't look as cold as I am sure it is! Thanks for the link to Piknik - like Alan, I am anxious to give it a try.
Best in the new year!
Brr... heureusement que l'on sait qu'il y avait toi derrière la caméra car c'est désertique à souhait.
Thank you for braving the cold weather to get us these gorgeous photos.
Wow!!
I wish I was there now
its here Winter wonderland
Snow.. snow.. snow..
Unique shots
so peaceful :-)
How I envy you a sight like this, without snow! Thank you for sharing it :-)
Beautiful. I wish there were snow. I need to get down to Washingtons Crossing. I'm not so sure that it really is warm enough for a walk though! Not complaining about the cold, I just don't want to be out there any more than I have too!!!ba
The photos are really pretty. Thank you so much for giving the link for the frames, I just went there and it's prety good.
Cheers.

A beautiful image of a great place, but we can guess that the cold is still there and this is a further compliment for your picture!
and what a nice place to walk . . .
Hello James!
I liked these frames, your pictures are wonderful!
It's so nice that you can walk with a more pleasant temperature.
We are back to Lux, but it's really cold here.Anyway I'm walking around a lot because my son is here and I'm now a kind of "tourist guide":)
Not so easy to walk around with a temperature -8 C.
Hugs

It looks like a scene out of a fairy tale, or a decor for a ballet or something. Very pretty!
And well worth the wait to take your walk! Lovely, lovely scene. I do like the frame!
What a beautiful scenery, James! I dont mind to take a walk in the freezing cold with a scenery like this. Love it so much..
Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely gorgeous scene, but...where's the snow? You are supposed to have snow! HA!
Beautiful, very scenic.
Beautiful shots! I love the frames, thanks for giving the link.
Warmth of the earth is handed down to me.
Thank you for showing wonderful scenery.
Great shots..looks beautiful in the winter...would be a scenic view in every season...
Oh so very pretty, both of them, like an art hanging on the wall.
It still looks cold but if the wind is calm I might be game. I've walked in colder.
Nice job with the frames.
Both shots are just fantastic! They look like oil paintings with those beautiful frames.
I will check out the link that Vicki found!
Looks cold but serene.
Lovely shot!
How I love these. Beautiful capures!
Thank you for sharing!
Regards.
They are both gorgeous photos, James. I love the pretty scene.
