Wow - love those reflections of the trees in the water. The lighting is gorgeous for this shot. The little pieces of ice floating on the water adds another dimension to the photo. I love it!
Nice one; James! One really gets a feeling of being carried away in slow motion.
It's beautiful James!Wonderful tree reflection, also a romantic scenery!

It's like adding jewelry to dress up casual attire! This, otherwise, not so impressive body of water is now dressed to the 9's!
Great shot, James! The ice in the water really gives it a whole different look.
Sunny :)
Fantastic!
Great one James.
Enjoy the weekend.

Great photo my friend. I love it. Looks cold though :) Have a great vacation :)
Nice shot, James. The sky reflection colors the water a soft blue.
great reflections....
I looked outside the window today and the snow had melted. Yay...
Love to see that melted ice in your shot too. Spring is coming!
Beautiful colors in the icy reflection and I love the title!
I love this mood.. Slowly movement.. the ice is flowing away, like winter..
The ice is nicely framing these reflections. I like it very much.
That line of slow moving ice is mesmerising, James. Thank you so much for maintaining this meme. It is one of the highlights of my week to go around and look at the wonderful contributions.
gorgeous reflections
Gorgeous photo, James! The thin layer of ice looks magical!
This is beautiful! The icy river allows for such strong and detailed reflections!
Beautiful reflections in these icy conditions ... something I don't see ever in my part of the world.
Hugs and blessings,
More than just water and ice James. Your image is a good one and another fine reflection.
I'm late today. Been playing with my new toys and just now logged onto my computer.
Hi James, hope you're having a good time! ;-) This is a very romantic photo, very sharp and crisp!
Very nice indeed!
Great shot, the reflections are outstanding. The ice and mud(?) look like the branches of the trees! Wonderful photo. Have a great vacation. Kathy
Nice reflection, I really like the bits of ice floating on the surface.
Excellant James, and so clear. What a great picture!

I love upside down trees - a bit of an optical illusion!
...I love Venice!
This is a fantastic photo.
A great find and a great shot. The reflection looks liket the real thing. Happy Weekend Reflections to everyone!
I love how you see just enough land at the top of the photo, it makes a nice frame for the shot.
There is something wonderful about naked trees reflected in water .... I like your shot!

The thing I like more in this beautiful reflection image is the hint of ice.
Wonderful reflections, James. I just love the photo, the trees, ice and colors are all fantastic. Well done!
Slushy reflection!
Your river and trees look really cold.
OTOH, my reflection this week is from a trip to the warm Judean Desert where we were sweating in T shirts.
I'm excited for the advent of Spring, aren't you? Lovely capture!
a good saturday james...so like the shot and the colors...the tree branches and limbs are softened by the water...lovely.
hoping all is just great with you :)
James mine's up! Underwent a little medical procedure yesterday so I wasn't able to sign in til today... :)
Great shot James!
What a beautiful wintry scene. I love those colours and the contrast between the glassy water and rough ice. Really lovely.
Hey James: Sorry about last week's entry.. I got the reflection this week but titled the photo rather than the blog in your mylinky list.. I'll get it right one day..
Cheers.
Hi James, I was thinking of both of you when I saw your post about your "vacation". I would have loved to meet both you and Lucy. Hehehe, I am collecting bloggy friends meet up. I have already met Amanda Moore and hopefully Happy Retired Gal, the three of us will have a photo shoot one of these days.
Geez, James...You escaped from the cold to come into the rain! Hope you are having a marvellous time, back close to the old homestead. I was at the Orange AMC 50 to watch the live broadcast of Carmen from the Met on Saturday. Maybe you were there too? :)
I love the two tone, warm feel of the picture...even the ice is melting from the warmth.
Reflections give such a surreal dimension to water, windows....etc. I like your photo.
Beautiful and fantastic shot !! This is so amazing @@
James, your shot is terrific. It's really Washington's Crossing?
Beautifully reflecting! Terrific shot!
