The Simple Life

I have lots of pictures to go through which can be overwhelming, so I decided to post a peaceful picture. I took this at Newport Beach around sunset either just before the storms rolled in or in between storms.

I decided to add this to Watery Wednesday which has always been one of my favorite memes. Checkout Watery Wednesday here.

When I see such lovely peaceful pictures, I really miss my sailboat. The subtle colors of the sky are so pretty and I love the lone gull.

I am not even close to being a boat person, but this is a beautiful photo for its colors and composition....love the dark beach and the gull.

One of the most peaceful images seen in these days. The bird in front of the boat is perfect.

Excellent composition, James...the sailboat is in the right position and the bird is perfect, and I really like the way the water and sky blend together...I don't see this as so peaceful or serene, though, 'cause the water appears to be moving - anticipating a storm, as you suggest...

Hi James, Thank you for nice comment on Venice flooding. I have to tell you that it was one of the most inspiring photo trips I have took. There was endless endless endless views no matter where you turn. Talk about reflection opportunities in the city surrounded by water :-)
I highly recommend it.

Your photos, though very different from Mr. Little's, are also gorgeous. That sunset shot below makes me want to be on a patio overlooking the ocean with a superb glass of wine in my hand.
