Maybe it leads to a tree house? Just kidding but from this angle it sort of looks like this old bridge could be up in the trees instead of just surrounded by them.
This is so pretty and so beautifully framed by the lush trees. The light is yummy AND do I see some reflection of the bridge in that water...what a bonus!
hee hee... «Louis» was going to write what Ciel has already written! Very fine image, James, and «Louis» thanks you for your contribution to Sunday Bridges.
What an idyllic spot. The light filtering through the trees is just gorgeous and the bridge is framed beautifully by the foliage and tree trunks. It's wonderful to see man and nature getting along with such peaceful compatibility. Too often, they are at odds.

What a wonderful old structure and it does look high in the trees. I love how the sunlight plays off the leaves.

It's a very nice bridge but what I like best is the light you caught and the way it's framed!
Great composition. It is a beautiful bridge.
Hi James
questa foto è veramente fatata !
Buona serata.
Are you really kidding? I'd bet indeed it was a bridge between tree houses! :)
God bless you!

Looks really interesting. Great sunny photo!
Very nice James! Not much like that in the OC...
That's a beautiful shot of the trees and bridge. Were you up in the trees when you shot it!!
It looks like the bridge is being absorbed by surrounding trees. The dappled light adds to the magic.
what a beautiful old bridge. hope all has been well.
Beautiful photograph. It looks like a great place.
Such a beautiful bridge and I love how it is surrounded by trees.
Cool bridge, where is it? Looks vaguely familiar/
a bridge amongst the trees. how lovely.
I love how the trees frame this shot. That bridge sure has some character!
Lovely!
Best regards from Argentina

A nice view between the trees.
All that life. And in just a few months it will bare branches with the dry leaves on the ground. Makes us love it all the more.

It does look strange. Clever capture!
Lovely shot. It does look like it's quite high. A nice spot - so green.

Time to embark on the Ever-to-Never line....A special railway that will lead you to somewhere else, but who knows where...

That's a lovely bridge James!
I believe this bridge does indeed lead to a treehouse. It's owned by a princess. :)
So peaceful looking!
That looks like a classic swimming hole. Beautiful nested in the trees.
Beautiful shot of a lovely old bridge. I think it might be the same bridge you have shown from underneath before...
What a great looking old bridge.
It's gorgeous surrounded by all that greenery!
Now that is a nice cool looking place to be... heat is a bit better now but still up there in the 30's:)
What a beautiful scene & it really does look like it's up in the trees! Beautiful!
Beautiful shot of the bridge and it does look suspended in the trees.
The frame of the emerald green. . . Or a window.
The bridge seems to be displayed on the frame.
What a wonderful composition, James!
One can image what an impressive tree house that might be at the end of the bridge! Its a lovely photo indeed.
I think this is one of the prettiest bridge photos I've ever seen.
This fills my eyes--and my imagination!
