James... Fantabulous (new word) photos! I have quite a few great shots of the battleship of NJ from the Camden side. I work 1 minute from the waterfront! :)
I really like that first picture. It is awesome. The battleship New Jersey is spectacular. The Missouri is over here in Honolulu and it's fantastic to go tour. I love it. Great shots :)
Outdoor Wednesday - I didn't know that meme! Love your monochrome - very creative. Your second photo is a lovely water shot and a great show of the ship. Your third is sky, sky, beautiful sky.
Great ship, this one is one of the few I'd really like to see with my eyes! Beautiful photos, the middle one is perfect. But this time, and oddly for a color-maniac, I like more the black and white version.
Big boat! I liked the monochrome the most /although the blue in the rest is gorgeous/. The composition is very interesting - the ship is like a giant ghost shadow on the background - like the contrast and everything about this view!
I think the first shot is the most interesting. The juxtaposition of the lamppost and doorway, with the battleship. Maybe I am still living in my hippie days, but it would be a wonderful world if the battleships were all relegated to the background.
We use to live on the Jersey side of Philly and we would see the ships on the way to the airport. I love your first shot. I am glad I peaked in your blog today. I am having so much fun seeing what people photograph. Thanks for sharing your shots with me. Joyce
Great photos James. The blue skies and the water always make for a lovely photo. Love the ship, although I claim ignorance about it. Thanks for sharing with OW today.

I like all three shots! Fantastic pictures.
Somehow the monochrome version (a reflection) game me the most impressive, but also austere version of this momentous vessel of war.

Really, it represents the end of an era.

Wow! Excellent! Especially the first shot with the lantern! Great angle!

That second one with the gorgeous skies behind the ship makes it most worthy of framing!
