The place to see and share photographs of reflections
James... Fantabulous (new word) photos! I have quite a few great shots of the battleship of NJ from the Camden side. I work 1 minute from the waterfront! :) Donna Marie
I really like that first picture. It is awesome. The battleship New Jersey is spectacular. The Missouri is over here in Honolulu and it's fantastic to go tour. I love it. Great shots :)
Great shots. The composition of the 1st is awesome!
This battleship is soooo huge!I loved the first picture!Léia
I like all three shots! Fantastic pictures.
Somehow the monochrome version (a reflection) game me the most impressive, but also austere version of this momentous vessel of war.
Outdoor Wednesday - I didn't know that meme!Love your monochrome - very creative.Your second photo is a lovely water shot and a great show of the ship.Your third is sky, sky, beautiful sky. Thanks for all 3!
Really, it represents the end of an era.
Great ship, this one is one of the few I'd really like to see with my eyes! Beautiful photos, the middle one is perfect. But this time, and oddly for a color-maniac, I like more the black and white version.
Wow! Excellent! Especially the first shot with the lantern! Great angle!
Hi James,Wonderful pictures. You know how much I love water and this is just perfect!Best regardsAstaPS: I left a small thing for you at my blog today. You already got it, but one can never get too much of the goodies-:)
Beautiful images. I'm leaning towards the last one as my fave.
I admire your ability to satisfy three memes with one post!! Good one, James.
I thought I recognized this character from a recent trip to Philly!
Loved the multi-tasking and this fascinating photo series ;--)Hugs and blessings,
That second shot really shows you how massive it is.Sydney - City and Suburbs
Big boat! I liked the monochrome the most /although the blue in the rest is gorgeous/. The composition is very interesting - the ship is like a giant ghost shadow on the background - like the contrast and everything about this view!
Great shots, love the sky in the last one.
Beautiful sky and a big battleship.
what a wonderful series of photos, love the last one so beautiful..http://www.mysanctuaryofthoughts.com
I think the first shot is the most interesting. The juxtaposition of the lamppost and doorway, with the battleship. Maybe I am still living in my hippie days, but it would be a wonderful world if the battleships were all relegated to the background.
Impressive. Thank God for the sailors and ships who protect our freedoms!Christi @ A Southern Lifehttp://asouthernlife.com
This is my main blog.Great multi-tasking James! Big J is so huge and the view of the harbor is just so beautiful! Great clouds!
Joie de vivre is a good thing James.Love the Chrysler building shots.Love the black and white.Happy 3 W'sClaudie
Beautiful shots. I especially love the first one, the composition is really interesting, and I have a fondness for monochrome. Kathy
The third picture with the sky line is gorgeous!
We use to live on the Jersey side of Philly and we would see the ships on the way to the airport. I love your first shot. I am glad I peaked in your blog today. I am having so much fun seeing what people photograph. Thanks for sharing your shots with me.Joyce
this battleship is so huge!I love the third shot Beautiful sky.
Ooh, I'd love to be able to tour a battleship! Both menacing and beautiful. Love your monochrome!

That second one with the gorgeous skies behind the ship makes it most worthy of framing!

Looks to me like it was a beautiful sky day... :-) Nice pictures of the Battleship!
My favorite is the one of the middle. It has a special color and It makes me think of the old postcards of the 50ies showing military boats.
