I went in for a closer look at the interesting house that I posted yesterday. When I entered the alley I saw a shallow puddle of water and in the water I saw the subtle reflection of the moon and sun from the house. I rotated it for better viewing. You might have to stare at it a little but I think it's pretty neat the way they fit right into the little puddle. I'm glad that I noticed them.

I see the crescent moon!
What a great shot James! It didn't take me too long to find them at all.
Oh that's a wonderful shot!
Hello James!
Amazing you capture a fabulous reflection from a puddle! It's nice to compare with the previous post here, thanks for the two views!
Happy Weekend Reflections and thanks for sharing this meme!
God bless you
Léia
Good eye, James!
Sunny :)
ha ha...you had me studying the photo for a little bit there in search of the sun and moon. I am unprepared again. :( I will just link to a photo from earlier this week.
The sun and moon are a great fit for the puddle and I like how the colors turned out colors too!
Perfect! Very nice shot. Good capture.
You shouldn't overlook the pattern in the rest of the photos - you have e nice abstraction here.
Original comme reflet, bien trouvé
Very nice James. I really like the abstract quality of this one. And yes, I can see the sun and the moon reflections after studying the photo for a minute.
The echo of yesterday's photo.. It seems to be a modern art painting!A creative abstraction.
That is so unique!...only in California! I hope you didn't step in that puddle! Love it!
Very slick! Great eye!
I saw them also, and the colors are awesome in the puddle!
I see the moon and the moon sees me! LOL! Great catch! Saw the sun, too!
I saw them too. Great shot, James!
I'm glad you posted the original yesterday, this is great! Enjoy the weekend!
Hello James, how are you?
At first, I thought this photo was a trick :o). After a couple of seconds I did see the sun and the moon :o)
The puddle is drying up.
Great catch! I loved comparing this to yesterday's photo. I think I would have missed this entirely! Kathy
Ah, a soft subtle touch like that makes a remarkable image. Well done, James!
Oh, now I see the light and great reflection of the wonderful sun and moon from your previous post.
Nice surprise, James.
Enjoy your weekend :)
James, Wonderful captures of the sun and moon. Have a great weekend!
Well spotted!
Have a happy weekend, James!
I did not understand what reflected me well,
when I looked first.
So. "Profound of universe" was reflected back there.
It may have changed more mysteriously than the real thing.
lovely reflection!
It would indeed be nice, if it would rain leafes and flowers - even if just for a moment.
Please have a wonderful start into the weekend.
You DO have a good eye! I had to concentrate for a minute, but think I do see it.
Have a great week-end.
B.
You certainly have a good eye for unique reflections. Ever since joining this meme, I have seen so many aspects of reflections I have never noticed before.
I enjoyed trying to see what was in the reflection and then suddenly recognizing the images from the previous days post. Nicely done James.
Thanks for hosting this.
: )
It took a while but then it came to me. Tricky shot.
Nice and cool!
I thought I was here:)(So sleepy then)
Enjoy the weekend.
You was right, yesterday detail helps to catch a volatile and quite imaginative reflection.
I like the different textures in the photo.
Fiendishly clever!
Awesome! And the house from your previous post is so Cali-like, isn't it?
I went back to check out the house and then it was easier to see them
very cool capture :)
I posted my first Weekend Reflection today
Perfect capture, James! In that little space... Mine is up! :)
Very tender & sentimental photo.
This photo is fantastic!
Natty piece of Art work and reflections.
Oh, funny. I didn't see them until you pointed them out. What did people think of you taking pics of a mud puddle? :-) I had the neighbors staring today, taking pics out in the snowy yard.
Yes, I did have to stare for a moment. Neat one! Good seeing.
Oh that's lovely! The colours are just right.
I'm glad you noticed them too ... very kewl shot! I would have added my link this morning, but I missed this post earlier since it didn't have the label 'Weekend Reflections' ... glad I found it this evening. I've been away from the computer all day and am pretty much exhausted so I guess I'll be visiting everyone tomorrow ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
James, I messed up on my title for my first Weekend Reflection. How can I correct it?
Ha, nice find. I rather prefer that sun and moon in this subdued version of them. :)
Very subtle and very cool. I need to get out and find some reflection shots. They just haven't presented themselves to me recently! I will be back to play along soon. This post has really taken off - kudos for the idea!
Ahhh! Now I see them. Very cool shot. I'm happy to have found your site and will be joining in Weekend Reflection.
Very subtle -- and very cool!
I have your blog in my reader but iot never seems to update. I'll have to reinstall you after church!
very creative!
Thank you for changing my first title. Would you mind making it Oakland Daily Photo? I'd do it myself but can't seem to figure out how. Thanks also for your encouraging comments. This is going to be fun.
Like I said earlier, you have a great eye!
Oh, I love this! The sun and moon have turned terrestrial. :D This photo makes me smile.
