Stormy skies over Philadelphia

I took these just after a big thunderstorm passed over the Philadelphia art museum(where I'm standing). I think the odd angles of the building in the distance look pretty cool.

These are wonderful photos. The skies look so brooding. I did enlarge the last one and the building with all those angles is a masterpiece.
Thank you for your visit and kind comment, James.

These are terrific, James! Love the storm clouds, but the building in the second shot is superb! The angles, the glass, the reflections -- all fabulous!

Have a great weekend!

Hmmm! I think some of your sky is hovering over my neighbourhood and dampening my golf schedule. You can have it back you know.

Actually, I think the heavy cloud cover adds a certain je ne sais quoi to the building. The jet is just like a garnish!

I want spend more time looking at your prison pics. Haven't had enough time. Great post James.

It's like the cloud arched over the top of the building. Great captures!

That building must be from after my time in the area...certainly is striking with those "odd angles" you mentioned...

Great shots!

Wonderful stormy skies and fascinating architecture on this museum. I shared COLORFUL skies at Sacred Ruminations and more usual neighborhood skies at Happily Retired Gal this week ;--)
